BORDEN - Raymond J. Of Amherst, entered into rest December 24, 2017; beloved husband of the late Barbara J. (nee Boergers) Borden; devoted father of Michael (Rita), Robert (Cindy), John (Betsy) and Joseph Borden; cherished grandfather of Cassie, Michael, Aidan, Katie, AJ, Maeve, Julian and Oliver; loving son of the late Helen and Nelson Borden; dear brother of Shirley (Earl) Cox, Margaret Borden, Cathleen (Robert) Meierer, Sharon (Paul) Finlayson and the late Joan (late Jack) Hughes and the late Robert (Elizabeth) Borden; also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Northtowns Chapel), 885 Niagara Falls Blvd., near Eggert/Sheridan Dr., on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Leo the Great Church, 885 Sweet Home Rd., Amherst, on Friday morning at 9:15 o'clock.
