Raymond A. Mcconnell

McCONNELL - Raymond A. Ray Passed away on May 12, 2022, at the age of 74, at Buffalos Veterans Hospital. Ray was a lifelong resident of Amherst, NY and a graduate of Sweet Home High School and the University of Buffalo. His battle with serious medical issues in recent years showed his courage in facing lifes challenges with both a smile and a joke in hand. With family at his side, Ray remained strong until the end. Ray is survived by his dedicated and loving sons, Brett and Eric McConnell and his dear brother Gregory McConnell. Ray was preceded in death by his parents, John and Catherine McConnell and sister, Sandra (David) Smith. Ray is also survived by Aunt Esther Roberts, Aunt Janet McConnell, cousins, nieces and nephews. Ray was a veteran of the US Air Force and retired as a pharmaceutical and medical supplies salesman with the 3M Company. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
