Renate Kramer

Renate Kramer (nee Mennen) June 30, 1937- December 27, 2025. Of Depew NY, predeceased by her beloved husband of 60 years, Helmut Kramer, and her loving daughter Robin Penberthy . Survived by her daughter Rebecca Baker (Terrence) and Son in law Daniel Penberthy. Dearest Grandmother of Stephanie Van Patten (Eric), Nicole Baker (Chris), Cory Baker (Emily), Nicholas Penberthy and Tyler Penberthy. Dearest Great Grandmother of Sydney, Charlotte, Brody and Cameron. Cherished sister of Inge, Liesbeth, Hanna and Ursula. Renate was born in Bremen Germany and was founder of Renee's Bakery in Depew specializing in German baked goods and cakes with her Husband, a master baker from Augsburg Germany. She was an active member of the Federation of German-American Societies and choir member. She was previously employed as a pacemaker technician at Wilson Greatbatch and JC Penney as a master seamstress. Renate's deep love for her children, their spouses, Grandkids and family was the focus of her home life; which was always filled with fresh flowers, German classical music, and traditional German meals. Family will receive relatives and friends at Lombardo Funeral Home, 4614 Main Street, Snyder NY on Saturday 11-1pm, followed by a prayer vigil in the funeral home. She will be interned with Helmut at Lancaster Rural Cemetery. Flowers, or alternatively, donations to Hospice Buffalo are encouraged.
