KELLY, Rev. John E. February 26, 1959 January 7, 2024 Of Buffalo, entered into rest January 7, 2024. Loving son of the late John and Regina Kelly; dear brother of Katherine Kelly, Patricia (Philip) Carcaci, Michael (Tonya) Kelly and the late Mary Eileen (late Daniel) Herberger, Claire Kelly and Vincent Kelly; nephew of the late Sr. Mary Brigid Hartigan and the late Sr. Jeanne Marie Hartigan; also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Rev. Kelly was a Lieutenant Commander in the United States Navy Chaplain Corps., as well as a Catholic Priest with the Diocese of Buffalo. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel) 3060 Abbott Rd., near Lake Ave. on Wednesday (January 10) from 4-8PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Martin of Tours Church, 1140 Abbott Rd., South Buffalo on Thursday morning at 9:30AM. Please assemble at Church. An interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery with military honors. **IMPORTANT NOTICE** The Church services have changed from St. Thomas Aquinas to St. Martin of Tours Church due to heating issue.**
