Allein, Richard February 21, 1943 January 20, 2024 Of Buffalo, entered into rest January 20, 2024. Son of the late Joseph and Loraine Allein. Husband of Karen (nee Russell) Allein. Devoted father of Lisa (Scott) Wilkey, Richard (Danielle) LaRusch, and Christopher LaRusch (Kendra Dunkleman). Adored Papa of eight loving grandchildren. Brother of William (Genavieve) Allein, Mary (James) Barnum, Susan Green and Joann (late Herbie) Matthewson. Beautiful Uncle Dick to several nieces and nephews. Richard was past commander of the American Legion Post #64 and member of several veteran organizations. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel) 3060 Abbott Rd., near Lake Ave. on Friday (January 26) from 3-7PM, with a service by the Erie County American Legion Post at 6:30PM. A prayer service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday morning at 9AM. An interment at Hillcrest Cemetery with Military Honors will immediately follow. Flowers gratefully declined.
