Beloved husband of Shirley (nee Weinsheimer) Ames; devoted stepfather of Dennis (Frances) Cummings; cherished step-grandfather of Todd and Bridget Cummings; loving son of the late Harold and Ruth Ames; dear brother of the late Robert (Mary) Ames; also survived by nieces and nephews. No prior visitation. Private service. Arrangements entrusted to LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Northtowns Chapel). Richard was a United States Army veteran of the Korean War.
