BAKOS - Richard W., Sr. of Tonawanda, entered into rest April 19, 2023 after a long illness at the age of 73. Beloved companion of Rochelle Forman; devoted father of Alan Marshak, Christina Lee, Richard W. Bakos Jr., Genni Eve (Daniel) BakosEdwards, and Justin Adam Bakos; cherished grandfather of 8; predeceased by brothers and sisters; also survived by family and friends. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Northtowns Chapel), 885 Niagara Falls Blvd., near Eggert/Sheridan Dr., on Sunday, April 30th from 2-4 PM. Richard was a kind-hearted and selfless man who devoted his life to helping others. A friend of Bill W, he served as a mentor and friend to countless individuals. Richard was a skilled car mechanic, computer tech, and lover of airplanes. In lieu of flowers, donations in Richards memory may be made to Hospice Care of Buffalo.
