CARPENTER - Richard R. "Rusty" of Gowanda, entered into rest September 15, 2023. Beloved husband of the late Frances M. (nee Vogt) Carpenter; devoted father of Rustan Carpenter, Randy (Lynn) Carpenter, and Renee (Robert) Nosal; dear stepfather of Katherine Zerkle and Patrick (Maureen) Zerkle; adored grandfather of Jordan and Jacob Nosal, Haidyn, Winter, Rose, Danny, Kailey, and Kaden Carpenter, Patrick, Anne, and Tommy Zerkle; loving son of the late Ralph R. and Ednah Carpenter; also survived by many family and friends. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel), 3060 Abbott Rd. near Lake Ave. on Thursday (September 28th) from 2-6 PM, where a Funeral Service will immediately follow.
