Richard William Funk

FUNK - Richard W. Age 96, of Amherst, NY. Entered into rest on May 31, 2023. Devoted husband of the late Frances Funk (nee Wright); father of Deborah Truman (William) and Richard Funk Jr. (Louise); loving grandfather of Kelly Blaszak (Stephen), Kimberly Lake (Kevin), Jason Funk (Michelle), Geoffrey Funk (Hannah) and Garrett Funk; greatgrandfather of Brianna, Madison, and Mackenzie Blaszak, Kaden and Kyle Lake; brother of the late Harold Funk and late Arlene Chapel. Dick is a US Navy veteran who served aboard the USS Shaula in the South Pacific. He was a longtime member of Kenmore United Methodist Church. There will be no funeral service. A Celebration of Life and interment will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Nothtowns Chapel).
