FURMAN - Richard G. Of Grand Island, entered into rest on January 12, 2021, at the age of 72. Beloved husband of Carolyn (nee Brunner) Furman; devoted father of Courtney (Greg) Lovria and Scott (Hawa) Furman; cherished grandfather of Troy, Logan and Nadia; loving brother of his twin Michael Furman, John Mies and Cheryl Hausner; dear brother-in-law of Thomas Brunner and the late Brian Brunner; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Richard was a retired Buffalo Firefighter. Private Services. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Richards name can be made to the ALS Foundation.
