LEE - Richard Anthony Of North Boston, 76, after a long struggle with dementia entered into rest August 15, 2019. Beloved husband of 53 years to Nancy J. (nee Marschner) Lee; devoted father of Michael (Allison) Lee, John (Donna) Lee and David (Laura) Lee; cherished grandfather of Shelby, Lindsay, Matthew, Samuel and John; fond step-grandfather of Justine McQuillen, Derek Doyle, Jonathan Skipp, Jacob Lesinski and four step-great-grandchildren; beloved brother of Ann Lee of Olean and the late Charles Lee; dear son of the late Anthony and Tecla Lee of Salamanca. Relatives and friends may visit the Lombardo Funeral Home (Southtowns Chapel), 3060 Abbott Rd., near Lake Ave., on Friday from 2-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John the Baptist Church, 6895 Boston Cross Rd., Boston on Saturday morning at 10 o'clock (please assemble at church). Interment St. John the Baptist Cemetery. Mr. Lee was a teacher for the Buffalo Public School District, football coach for Hamburg Schools, a member and past Chief of the North Boston Fire Company, President of the Boston Conservation Advisory Counsel, President of the St. Vincent De Paul Society of St. John the Baptist Church (food pantry) and was active in many of the church's activities. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Richard's memory to the Alzheimer's Association.
