Beloved husband of 59 years of Susie (nee Cinotti) Scimia; devoted father of Mary Beth (Barry) Gonsior, Joseph (Laurie Schmidt) Scimia and Renee (William) Loewer; cherished Poppy of Elizabeth, Katherine, Mary, Alexander and Nicholas; loving son of the late Enrico and Assunta (nee DeAngelis) Scimia; dear brother of the late Frank (late Elisa) Scimia, the late Mary (late Samuel) Nappo, the late Anthony (Emelia) Scimia, the late Anne (late John) Belotta, the late Enrico (late Geraldine) Scimia; the late Philomina (late Anthony) Prezioso, the late Rosemary (late Frank) Calveneso, and the late Pamela Scimia; also survived by other loving relatives and friends. No prior visitation. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at Infant of Prague Church, 921 Cleveland Dr., Cheektowaga on Saturday (February 29, 2020) at 9:30AM. Mr. Scimia was a veteran of the US Navy.
