Of Lockport, entered into rest November 9, 2013, beloved husband of Esperanza (nee Lopez) Shields; devoted father of Clara (Bob) Heller and Victoria "Vicky" (Paul) Juda; cherished grandfather of Kyle, Terra Juda and Emily, Maria Heller; loving son of the late Charles and Clara (nee Biggie) Shields; dear brother of Daniel (late Mary) Shields and the late Charles (Jeannette) Shields; also survived by relatives and friends. Mr. Shields was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
