Thomas, Richard A. Sr. 'Dick' - 92, of North Buffalo, entered into rest on May 24, 2024. Beloved husband of 67 years to Rita Thomas (nee DiPalma); devoted father of Richard A. Thomas, Jr. (Katherine ODonnell) and Rebecca A. (Jon) Christie; cherished grandfather of Jillian M. (Alexander) Vilardo, Spencer W. Thomas and the late Mia Larin Christie; adored great-grandfather of Alesandra and Serafina Vilardo; loving son of the late Daniel and Clara (nee Sparacino) Thomas; dear brother of the late Daniel (Millie) Thomas and Charles (late Jean) Thomas; survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Dick loved family gatherings and was a US Army Veteran. He retired from the US Post Office and City of Buffalo. Relatives and friends may visit St. John the Baptist Church, 1085 Englewood Ave. Kenmore on Saturday, June 1st from 11:30am-12:30pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be immediately celebrated after at 12:30pm. Entombment Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
