TOEPFER, Richard J. of South Buffalo, entered into rest March 29, 2026. Beloved husband of Diane (nee English) Toepfer; devoted father of Timothy (Carol) Toepfer, Kerra (Rob) Alessi, Kristi (John) Ford, and the late Kathy (Keith) Possinger; cherished “Boompa” of Alannah, Willa, and Ivy; loving son of the late Karl and Minna Toepfer; dear brother of Herbert (late Marjorie) Toepfer and predeceased by Catherine Toepfer, Ursula “Mickey” Smith-Weber, Robert (late Carol) Toepfer, Elizabeth (late Norman) Becker, Carl (late Virgina) Toepfer, and Paul (late Sharon) Toepfer; also survived by many nieces, nephews, family, and friends especially his buddies from the Bethlehem Steel Plant. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel) 3060 Abbott Rd., near Lake Ave. on Saturday (April 4th) from 2-6 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Martin of Tours Church, 1140 Abbott Rd., South Buffalo on Monday morning (April 6th) at 9:30 o’clock. Please assemble at Church. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Richard was a United States Army Veteran. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made in Richard’s honor to Hospice Buffalo.
