VENNEMAN, Richard C. of Orchard Park, entered into rest January 30, 2025. Beloved husband of the late Donna (nee Edwards) Venneman; devoted father of Janet (Don) Rayner, Linda (late Michael) Kirt, Terry (late Kenn) Jaster, and Susan (Steve) Canestrari; cherished grandfather of 9; adored great grandfather of 17 and great-great grandfather of 8; loving son of the late Philip and Gladys Venneman; dear brother of the late Emily (late Lee) Pfeiffer and late William Venneman; also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends. Relatives and friends may visit LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel) 3060 Abbott Rd., near Lake Ave. on Saturday (February 15th) from 12-4 PM, where a Prayer Service will immediately follow. Private Inurnment Lakeside Cemetery. Richard was a United States Air Force Veteran, lifelong member of the Newton Abbott Fire Department, American Legion Post 735, Amvets Hank Nowak Post #45, and the AMVETS Ray Metty Memorial Post #897. In lieu of flowers, donations in Richards honor may be made to the Journey’s Department at Autumn View Nursing Home, 4650 Southwestern Blvd., Hamburg, NY 14075.
