Rita Grace Macdiarmid

Of East Amherst, entered into rest April 7, 2025.  Beloved wife of the late Patrick G. MacDiarmid Sr.; devoted mother of Elizabeth (Rudy) Schaefer, Laura (David) Oldread and Patrick (Erin) MacDiarmid; cherished grandmother of 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; loving daughter of the late Elias and Rose Attea, dear sister of Rosemary (late Richard) Saffire, Agnes (late Don) Banks, Theresa (late Frank) Utz, Sonny (late Kay) Attea, Frank (Kay) Attea; Cecilia (late William) Attea, Elias Attea Jr., and the late Delores (Frank) Sapienca, Philip Attea and Dorothy (late James ) Wood; also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.  No prior visitation.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday (4/16/2025) at St. John Maron Church, 2040 Wehrle Dr., Williamsville. (please assemble at church) Entombment Mt. Olivet cemetery.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Rita's memory to Hospice Buffalo.
