NOLAN, Rita M. (nee McGowan) of Blasdell formerly of the Old First Ward, entered into rest July 27, 2026. Beloved wife of the late Patrick J. Nolan; devoted mother of Thomas P. (Kimberly) Nolan and Siobhan Nolan; cherished grandmother of Michalla M. (Will Allen) Nolan and Katelin C. Nolan; loving daughter of the late William and Margaret (nee McCarthy) McGowan; dear sister of Barbara (Michael) LaRosa and the late Anna (Jack) Ryan; also survived by loving nieces, nephews, family, and friends. 

Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel) 3060 Abbott Rd., near Lake Ave. on Thursday (7/30) from 3-7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church, 3148 Abbott Rd., Orchard Park on Friday at 11:30 AM. Please assemble at Church. Interment Lakeside Cemetery. Rita was a member of The Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians, Daughters of Erin, Catholic Daughters, and the Buffalo Irish Center.
