Robert L. Berquist

Robert L. Berquist, 98, of Clarence, entered into rest on August 24, 2025. Devoted husband of the late Christine (nee Mansfield) Berquist; beloved father of Kenneth R. Berquist, Andrew W. (Deirdre Bentley) Berquist, and Peter S. (Ellen O’Leary) Berquist; cherished grandfather of Carl (Joanna) Berquist, David (Kelechi) Berquist, Katherine Berquist and Mark (Christina) Berquist; adored great-grandfather of 3 great-grandchildren; loving son of the late Carl and Ida (nee Johnson) Berquist; dear brother of Natalie (late Alfred) Saunders and the late C. Richard (late Alice) Berquist; also survived by nieces and nephews. Robert was a veteran of the US Navy. He worked for many years as an Engineer in Navigation Systems at Bell Aerospace in Niagara Falls. In his spare time, Robert was an avid sailor, skier, and woodworker. He loved to travel with his wife and family. Robert also volunteered designing and building homes with Habitat For Humanity in Buffalo for many years. A Memorial Service will be held at Clarence Presbyterian Church, 9675 Main St., Clarence, NY on Saturday, October 11th at 1:30PM. Inurnment Clarence Presbyterian Church.
