Robert J.
Bulger
Nov 26, 1976 — Jul 12, 2026
Robert (Rob) J. Bulger, of Thomson, Georgia, passed away peacefully on July 12, 2026, at Georgetown Medical Center in Washington, D.C.
He was the beloved husband of Nancy A. Bulger; devoted father of Morgan Bulger; and loving stepfather of Kristina Topp (Stu Topp), Nikolas Doyle (Elle Doyle), and Matthew Doyle (Alexis Doyle). He was the cherished grandfather of Maximillian Doyle.
Rob was the loving son of Ronald Bulger and the late Roxanna Bulger; dear brother of Russ Bulger and the late Roger Cook; and was also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will deeply miss him.
Born and raised in Buffalo, New York, Rob recently relocated to Thomson, Georgia, with his beloved wife, Nancy, where they embraced a slower pace of life and the warmer southern weather. Although he enjoyed his new home, Buffalo always held a special place in his heart.
Rob had a lifelong passion for racing. Whether he was behind the wheel or in the garage working on his beloved No. 32 race car, he found joy in the thrill of competition and the friendships formed at the track. Above all, he treasured spending time with his family, creating lasting memories with those he loved most. A devoted Buffalo Bills fan, Sundays during football season were especially meaningful, and few things brought him more excitement than celebrating another Josh Allen touchdown.
Rob will be remembered for his kind heart, his sense of humor, his unwavering love for his family, and the enthusiasm he brought to the people and passions that filled his life. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
