BYRNE - Robert S., Sr. Of West Seneca, entered into rest April 13, 2018; beloved husband of Barbara D. (nee Quattrone) Byrne; devoted father of Kimberly A. Brown, Robert (Colleen) Byrne, Karen Kneeland, Gerald (Susan) Byrne and Bridget Leonard; cherished grandfather of 16 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; loving son of the late Gerald and Catherine Byrne; dear brother of Catherine (Richard) Schanne, Donald (Mary Alice) Byrne and the late Gerald Byrne. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel), 3060 Abbott Rd., near Lake Ave., on Monday, from 3-8 PM, where prayers will be said on Tuesday morning at 8:30 o'clock. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Martin of Tours Church at 9:30 o'clock. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Mr. Byrne served in the US Army and retired from the Buffalo Fire Department.
