Robert T. Habdo

November 5, 1931 — February 7, 2026

Habdo, Robert T., 94, of Tonawanda, went to his heavenly home on February 7, 2026. Beloved husband and best friend to his wife of forty-four years, Georgia (nee Heitzenrater) Habdo; devoted father of Susan (Nicholas) Swiantek, Amy Dee, and the late Thomas Habdo and Jennifer Dee; father-in-law of Anne Marie Taggart; cherished grandfather of five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren and his grand-dog Reggie; loving son of the late Thomas William and Viola Eleanor (nee Jachimiak) Habdo; dear brother of the late Gloria Moran. Also survived by family and friends.

Bob is a Veteran and served in the Navy. He worked 58 years at Buffalo Forge Company/Howden Buffalo, starting out as a Design Draftsman, retiring as the Design Manager, where he continued as a consultant for several years.

Bob loved to golf and was a member of the Buffalo Forge Company Golf League. He looked forward to his yearly golf trip to Cross Creek. He was a Committee Member of the Buffalo Forge Company, Goodfellow's Retiree picnic, which was held at Chestnut Ridge Park every year.

Playing games like Dominoes, Sequence, and especially Yahtzee with his family was always a fun competitive tradition. 

Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Northtowns Chapel), 885 Niagara Falls Blvd., near Eggert Road, on Friday (February 13) from 4-7 PM where a prayer service will immediately follow.
