Heininger, Robert J. May 11, 1935 Oct 21, 2024 Of West Seneca, entered into rest October 21, 2024. Beloved husband of 67 years to Olive "Dottie" Heininger; devoted father of Robert L. Sr. (Donna) Heininger and Eric Heininger; cherished grandfather of Sherry, Robert L. Jr. and Ariel,Heininger; adored great-grandfather of Erica Pape, Kendall Pape, Austin Mowers, Robert L. Heininger III and Nicholas Pape; loving son of the late Ludwig and Mary Heininger; dear brother of the late Louis, William, Bernard, Helen and Grace; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Robert was a proud US Army veteran. In his spare time, his favorite hobby was flying model airplanes. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel) 3060 Abbott Rd., near Lake Ave. on Thursday (October 24) from 3-8PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church, 3148 Abbott Rd., Orchard Park on Friday morning at 10AM. Please assemble at Church.
