Robert Francis King

KING - Robert Francis April 27, 1927 - May 10, 2019. Bob has gone to join his wife, Gloria Corrie King. He leaves behind his sister Ruth, his children David (Kathy Wasik), Susan (Richard Engelen), Michael (Sandra Vannucchi) and Robin (Trevor Foote), his grandchildren Mick, Jennifer, Corrie and Caterina and loving great-grandchildren. A graduate of Bennett High School and Brown University, Bob was a sales executive in the food industry. After retirement, he was the equipment manager for the Canisius College basketball team. As the Mayor of Southtowns at Sugarloaf Farm, Bob enjoyed a martini and cigar whenever possible along with his beloved Dixieland collection. A Memorial Service will held at the Forest Lawn Chapel, 1411 Delaware Ave., Buffalo, New York on Friday, May 17th, at 11a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to The Hospice Foundation of Western NY.
