Robert A Mccleery

McCLEERY - Robert A. Of Amherst, entered into rest May 23, 2021. Beloved wife of Wendy McCleery (nee Lawson). Devoted father of Colleen McCleery. Adored grandfather of Dylan, Hailey and Caitlin Ryszka. As a General Motors employee, Robert was an active member of the UAW Local 774. After he retired, he became the chairman of the Retired UAW Local 774. Additionally, Robert was on the board of the Riverside Federal Credit Union, an active member of the ENCARA, a reserve Erie County Deputy Sheriff and a platelet donor at the Roswell Park Cancer Center for over 20 years. He will be missed by all who knew him. Friends and relatives may gather at the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Northtowns Chapel) 885 Niagara Falls Blvd., near Eggert/ Sheridan Dr., on Sunday, from 10:00 AM11:30 AM, with a Military and Funeral Service immediately to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Buffalo and the Erie County SPCA.
