McCormick, Robert G. "Bob" Of Tonawanda, entered into rest on June 17, 2023. Beloved husband of 39 years to Kim (nee Ohar) McCormick; devoted father of Jacob R. (Michelle) McCormick and Tiffany N. McCormick; cherished grandfather of Callie Skye McCormick and Carly Mae McCormick; loving son of the late Gerald and Madeline (nee Fleming) McCormick; dear brother of Gerald J. (Janet) McCormick, Karen McCormick, Shirley (late Dennis) Browner, and Cynthia L. McCormick; also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Snyder Chapel) 4614 Main Street, Snyder (near Harlem Rd.) on Thursday, June 22nd from 4-8PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday morning, June 23rd in St. Francis of Assisi R.C. Chapel, 71 Adams Street, Tonawanda at 11:30 oclock. Please assemble at Church. Interment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Buffalo or Disabled American Veterans. Bob was a kind soul who loved nothing more than spending his time talking with friends and family. He thrived in the sun and savored every moment he spent at the beach. His love for music was a consistent theme throughout his life. You could always find Bob by following the sound of the music. He had an undeniable passion for automobiles and was a knowledgeable mechanic who admired all aspects of cars, but had a special place in his heart for his blue, 1956 Chevy Pickup Truck. As a proud veteran, Bob was honored to serve in the United States Air Force. He would tell anyone he met that he was a veteran and how proud he was to serve his country. He had the biggest heart, with the kindest soul, and always had something nice to say about every single person he met, even strangers. He loved to help others and spent his free time volunteering at the VA Hospital. He was an incredibly loving father and husband throughout his life and was happy to express just how proud he was of his son and daughter every chance he got. Bob will be remembered by his immediate and extended family, each and every day, in their hearts and in their thoughts.
