Sands, Jr., Julie Curtin, Eric (Belinda) Sands, Debra (Duran) Gomez and Kristine (Colin) Brennan; cherished grandfather of Kathryn (Cole), Robert III (Amanda), Jonathan, Liam, Conlan, Aidan, Hannah, Dylan, Phoebe (Josh), Veda (Amory), Silas and Suki; loving son of the late Marcelino and Rose Sanz- Luis; dear brother of Rosemary (Ken) Parot, the late Dolores (late John) Sabatowski and the late John (late Kathleen) Sanz-Luis. Also loved by many friends. A dedicated member of the Pierce-Arrow Society for over fifty years, Bob is hailed as a "legend" by fellow Pierce- Arrow enthusiasts. He devoted countless hours to meticulously restoring his cars and cherished every opportunity to share his knowledge and expertise. Bobs impressive Pierce-Arrow collection remains a testament to his passion for these elegant luxury antique cars once manufactured in Buffalo. Bob was a US Army Veteran and dedicated employee of Bethlehem Steel for over 40 years. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel), 3060 Abbott Rd. near Lake Ave. on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m., where a Funeral Service will be held on Friday morning at 10 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Buffalo.
