Robert M Ritzel

RITZEL - Robert M. Of West Seneca, after a long battle with Pancreatic Cancer, passed away on January 23, 2021. Beloved son of Amelia and William Ritzel; brother of Catherine (Ray) Andrews and David Ritzel; also survived by many other family members and friends. Robert graduated from South Park High School, was an Army Veteran, he was a postal employee for 41 years. Robert was a volunteer at South Buffalo Mercy Hospital, he was a devoted catholic at St. Theresas Church in South Buffalo. He was an elector, Eucharistic Minister, and an usher. Robert was very active in all activities (carnivals, missions, raffles, etc.). Rob was an avid sports fan of the Buffalo Sabres, Bills and the Boston Red Sox. He was also an election official. No prior visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial was held in St. Theresas Church, 1974 Seneca St., South Buffalo. Entombment Holy Cross Cemetery. A celebration of Roberts life will be held in the summer. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Roberts name to Roswell Park Cancer Institute, Hospice Buffalo, or St. Theresas Church in South Buffalo.
