Robert S. Shanks

SHANKS - Robert S. Of Hamburg, entered into rest on May 4, 2022, after a long courageous battle with cancer. Beloved husband of Susan (nee Herrmann) Shanks; devoted father of Matthew S. Shanks; loving son of the late Stewart and Martha Shanks; dear brother of Jacqueline (late Raymond) ONeill, Paul (Patricia) Shanks, Barbara (late Edward) Smith, Susan (late James) Kelley, and the late Carol (late Jim) Danieu; fond brother-in-law of 10; also survived by many family and friends. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel), 3060 Abbott Rd., near Lake Ave., on Friday (May 13th), from 2-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 450 Abbott Rd., Buffalo, on Saturday morning at 9:30 AM (please assemble at Church). Interment Woodlawn Cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined.
