81, of Lockport, entered into rest on April 5, 2025. Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth Christine (nee Ward) Helms; devoted father of John (Eileen) Helms, Ronald J. Helms, Michael (Nicole) Helms and Daniel (Dawn) Helms; cherished grandfather of Alex, Nathan, Hannah and Drew; loving son of the late George and Mary (nee Hartman) Helms; dear brother of the late Sandra Lobrutto; also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 10 at 10am at Elmlawn Cemetery (please assemble at cemetery). In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Niagara SPCA, 2100 Lockport Rd.
