PETERS, Ronald A. of Hamburg, entered into eternal rest on December 19, 2024. Beloved husband of Louise (nee Stacconi) Peters; loving father of Eugene (Christie) Peters and Deborah (James) Zemla; dearest grandfather of Benjamin, Will and Sara Peters, Alyssa (Ciara LiVecchi) Zemla, Derek (Michelle) Zemla, Seth (Faith) Zemla, James Zemla, and great-grandfather of Larry, Nick, John, and Luke Zemla; loving son of the late Maurice and Violet Peters. Also loving father of Kevin (Janice Benjamin) Witherel, Brian (Susan) Witherel and Bruce (Diane) Witherel; dearest grandfather to Katie, Jenna and Kara Witherel, Robert (Hannah) Witherel, Laura (Zack) Johnston, Michael (Gabrielle) Witherel, Alex (Ryan) McFadden, Rachael Witherel, and great grandfather to Bobby, Jamie and Claire Witherel, Cooper Johnston, and Levi Witherel. Ron loved camping, dancing, outdoor summer concerts, working in the yard, and spending time with his family. He was very active in his church where he served as a deacon and at other Lutheran Churches in the area and volunteered on many church committees. He also was Executive Secretary for St. Johns Lutheran Home for Children Board for many years. He was a member of the Ismailia Shrine, the Hamburg Shrine Club and the West Seneca #1111 Masonry Lodge. During his working career he was President of the Purchasing Management Assoc. of Buffalo. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at 11:00 AM at All Saints Lutheran Church, 6065 South Park Ave., Hamburg NY.
