Of Williamsville, age 76, entered into rest January 5, 2025. Beloved husband of JoAnne (nee Amato) Wishman; devoted father of Ronald J. (Ann Marie) Wishman and Suzanne Sullivan; cherished grandfather of Kaileigh (Alex Wojtulski) Saeva, Matthew Wishman, Courtney (Spencer) Cross, Carah Wishman, Caden Sullivan and Casey Sullivan; loving son of the late Edwin and Caroline (nee Lograsso) Wishman; dear brother of Patricia (William) Crysler, Donald (Madonna) Wishman, Thomas (Sara) Wishman, Theresa (Russell) Schindehette, and the late Linda (Thomas) Payne, John (Lisa) Wishman and Joan (Colin) Harper; dearest brother in law of Antoinette Gambino and the late Joseph Amato Jr.,also survived by nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, cousins and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 11th, at 10:30 AM at St. Gregory the Great Church, 200 St. Gregory Ct., Williamsville (please assemble at church) Entombment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Ron was a retired Buffalo Police Officer and retired Command Sargeant Major of the New York Army National Guard, 105 MP company, 152 ENBN, 3rd. BDE 42 ID, President of the Veteran Association 74th/174th, and member of Amvets Post #14. Flowers gratefully declined.
