MODICA - Rose (nee Mormino) Of Tonawanda, entered into rest June 3, 2017, beloved wife of the late James Modica; devoted mother of Mary (Jeff) Nowobilski, Lorraine (David) Starr, Susan (Wayne) Young, Jo Ann Modica and Carol (Charles) Steinagle; cherished grandmother of Jennifer, Jason, David, Kimberly, Jeffery, Bradley and Matthew; adored great-grandmother of 10 great-grandchildren; loving daughter of the late Cologero and Mary Mormino; dear sister of Viola Battaglia and the late Salvatore Mormino and Nancy D'Amico; also survived by relatives and friends. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Northtowns Chapel), 885 Niagara Falls Blvd. near Eggert/Sheridan Dr. on Wednesday from 1-8 PM where prayers will be held Thursday morning at 8:30 o'clock and a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Andrew's Church at 9:30 o'clock. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
