LESKIW REYNOLDS - Rose M. Reynolds passed away peacefully on June 2nd, 2022. She was 90 years old. She was preceded in death by her loving husbands John Leskiw and Robert Reynolds and her son-in-law David Haas. She is survived by her three children, Janet Haas, Elaine Gurrant, and John Leskiw; her son-in- law George Gurrant; her daughter-in- law Mary Jo Leskiw; eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren; beloved sister-in-law Audrey; nieces, nephews and cherished extended family. Born in Buffalo, NY, Rose graduated from Grover Cleveland High School in 1949. She was a mother and homemaker for thirteen years before beginning a 30-year career as a cosmetologist in Orchard Park. Rose was active in the WNY Chapter of the NYS Hairdressers and Cosmetologists Assn., and was a pioneer in bringing the Look Good, Feel Better program of the American Cancer Society to Western New York, where she led the program helping cancer patients for over 20 years. In 1990, she was honored in Atlanta, GA by the National Office of Look Good, Feel Better for her countless contributions to the lives of cancer patients. For over 60 years, Rose was a devout parishioner of the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Orchard Park where she served as a Eucharistic Minister before moving to Avon Lake, Ohio in 2020. A visitation will be held for dear friends and family on June 24th from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME at 3060 Abbott Road in Orchard Park. Funeral services will be on June 25th at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church, 3148 Abbott Road, Orchard Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to the Look Good, Feel Better program at LookGoodFeelBetter.org, or to the Hospice of the Western Reserve, PO Box 72101, Cleveland, OH 44192.
