Putman, Rosetta T. (nee Kinkade) of Tonawanda entered into rest on January 1, 2026. Beloved mother of Robert (the late Sherry Reeb) Putman; loving step-grandmother of Joseph Lane (Amber Morse) and Crystal Jasinski and several step-great-grandchildren; devoted sister of Pat (Robert) Becker and the late Robert (the late Louise) Kinkade; cherished aunt of Kevin, Christopher Kinkade and Lise (Johnny) McNally, Kelly (Steven) Falkenrath, Kristen Becker (Katie Fitzgerald); loving great-aunt of Jared (Julie), Eric (Krystle), Kendall Falkenrath; adored great-great aunt of Jaxon and Josie Falkenrath; also survived by many cousins, friends, and crazy cat McGee.
Rosetta worked as an EKG Technician, and was a Registered Medical Secretary with the National Registry in Boston, Massachusetts. When a disability cut her career short, Rosetta found work in childcare, trusted by many families to assist in raising their children. She loved them all as if they were her own, and some were, as she took on babysitting her own great nephews and niece as well. In her later years, Rosetta often worked the voting booths on election days, and enjoyed being involved in her community in this way. Rosetta loved all animals, and had many beloved pets throughout her life. She loved Elvis, cherry blossom trees, long rides, sweets, a good beef on weck, and would never refuse a chance to sit at a penny machine at the casino. Most of all, she loved her son and her family, and will be forever missed by them all.
Relatives and friends may visit the Lombardo Funeral Home (Northtowns Chapel), 885 Niagara Falls Blvd. near Eggert/Sheridan Dr. on Thursday, January 8 from 3-7 PM, where a Funeral Service will follow Friday, January 9 at 10 AM. Interment at Cold Springs Cemetery, Lockport. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the SPCA. Condolences may be made on this page.
