Rudolph Moore

Rudolph Moore transitioned quietly on Wednesday, May 20th, 2020. Rudy was a Buffalo resident, supreme storyteller, and lifelong Oakland Raiders fan. He loved recreating his parents family recipes and participating in spirited discourse with close family and friends. Rudy worked as the lead on the custodial staff at BUILD Academy for 35 years. Mr. Moore was also a Licensed Stationary Chief Engineer and provided substitute services for Buffalo Public Schools. Rudy was the beloved husband of Tanya Moore; devoted father to Jayson (Santresa) Moore, Bernardo (Joella) Amaro, Danielle Moore, and Heather (Jackie) Moore Roberson; grandfather to Jayson Moore, Jaylynn Moore, Abreya Jordan, Arthur Jordan, Elijah Roberson, and Dominic Johnson; part of a large extended family which included sisters Mary (Leroy) Palmer, Leontine Williams, Murray (Green) Roberts, and Bernice (Milton) Bates; and brothers Ulysses Moore, Johnnie Moore, and Donald Moore. He was welcomed into heaven by his mother Lottie J. Moore and father Arnold F. Moore, Sr.; sisters Shirley Conway and Zandra (Bob) Love; and brother Arnold Moore, Jr. Funeral services are private and limited to immediate family. Mr. Moore will be laid to rest at Mount Calvary Cemetery. A public celebration of life will take place on a later date.
