August 6, 1960 May 23, 2024 SERGI III, Salvatore "Sam" of Buffalo, entered into rest unexpectedly on May 23, 2024. Beloved husband of Lynn (nee Doepp) Sergi; devoted father of Salvatore Sergi IV and Michael A. Sergi and life a father to John Lombardo; loving son of the late Salvatore and Nella Sergi, Jr.; dear brother of Josephine (Iano) Savaglia, Dominic Sergi, and Rosanna (Edward) Kutas; also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel) 3060 Abbott Rd. near Lake Ave. on Wednesday (June 5th) from 3-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Victory Basilica, 767 Ridge Rd., Lackawanna on Thursday morning at 10:30 oclock. Please assemble at Church. Entombment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Sam was the co-owner of Mineo's South Pizzeria in South Buffalo for the past 22 years.
