VIOLANTI - Samuel Of Orchard Park, entered into rest January 9, 2018; devoted father of Rose Mary Graham (Tom), Joanne (William) Vasquez and Samuel (Judith) Violanti; cherished grandfather of Lisa (Jay), Amer, William (Hannah) Vasquez, Naomi (Joel) Gazal, Seth Graham, Joshua Violanti, Cally Graham, Zachary Violanti, Ben Violanti, and Joseph Vasquez; adored great- grandfather of Samir, Xenia, Marina, Julianna, Gabriel, Mia, Michael, Gabriella, Theodore, Nadeema, Emma, and Sophia; loving son of Rose (Trupo) and Salvatore Violanti; former husband of Mary (nee Susi) Violanti; dear brother of Geraldine (late Peter) Schiavi and the late Mary Jane (late Al) Pukalo; also survived by relatives and friends. Relatives and friends may visit the Lombardo Funeral Home (Southtowns Chapel), 3060 Abbott Rd., near Lake Ave., on Thursday from 7-9 and Friday from 4-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Charity Parish (St. Ambrose Worship Site) 65 Ridgewood Rd., South Buffalo, on Saturday morning at 9:30 o'clock, (Please assemble at church). Entombment Holy Cross Cemetery. Mr. Violanti was an Army Veteran of the Korean war and retired Lackawanna Police Captain of 27 years.
