Beloved husband of over 29 years to Sonya (nee Cornman); devoted father of Leanne Coleman, Casie (Nick Dentico) Coleman, Shana (Michael Massey) Coleman, and Alanna (Taylor) Herne; cherished grandfather Kyah, Kalen, Khile, Jeffrey, Sam, Emma, Luca, Rosie, Stellah, Harrison, Lorenzo, Harlow and the late Sophia Rose; adored son of Robert Lazore and the late Rita (nee Herne) Swamp; caring grandson of the late Christie Herne; dear brother of Arthur (Janet) Swamp, Amie (the late Brian) Barnes, Ali (the late PJ) Herne; loving son-in-law of Yvonne LaRosa; loving brother-in-law of Kevin Cornman, Anita (Bob) Coleman, Curt (Dawn) Cornman, Jeff (Diane) Cornman, and Jeanine (Tom) Ostrander; also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Scott worked as a machinist at General Motors for 39 years. A talented lacrosse athlete who competed overseas with The Iroquois National Team. Scott transitioned into coaching lacrosse for the love of the game. He grew up on the family farm in Akwesasne, NY, where he learned about family and cultural values that would follow him for the rest of his life. Relatives and friends may visit the family home at 55 Mullen St. Tonawanda, NY 14150 on Wednesday August 19, and Thursday August 20 continuously. A Funeral Ceremony will take place on Friday August 21, at the family home, at 9 AM. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Hope Lodge.
