In Loving Memory of Sean Casey

June 28, 1972 - June 1, 2026

Sean Casey, 53, passed away on June 1, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, love, faith, and unforgettable memories.

Born on June 28, 1972, Sean lived life with a big heart and a larger-than-life personality. He had a special gift for lighting up any room he entered. Whether he was telling a joke, pulling a harmless prank, sharing a story, or simply spending time with the people he loved, Sean had a way of making everyone feel welcome and valued.

Sean had a deep love for horror movies and all things spooky, but those who knew him best also knew the kindness, compassion, and faith that defined him. His love for Jesus was an important part of his life and brought him strength through both good times and difficult ones. He lived with a sense of humor that could brighten even the darkest days and a loyalty that made him a treasured friend and family member.

Sean was the beloved son of Patricia Casey (Serwinoski) and Clifford Casey. He is survived by his ex wife, Sherrie Azzarelli, who loved him for many years, and even in divorce, found a way to be his best friend; his loving sister, Helen Casey of Buffalo; his niece, Alayna Spinler, and her partner of two years, Kantivut(Paul) Charoenwong, both of whom loved him dearly; his nephew, Shawn Morgan of Alabama; and his lifelong best friend, Joey Guiseppe Fiannca, who had been like a brother to him since the sixth grade. Also Joey's kids, Austen and Giuseppe Fiannaca called him Uncle too from birth and loved him deeply. The bond Sean and Joey shared was one of friendship, lasting more than four decades and filled with countless memories.

To know Sean was to know laughter. He loved making people smile, often through playful pranks and his quick wit. He never missed an opportunity to bring joy to others, and his presence could turn an ordinary gathering into a memorable occasion. While his family and friends mourn his passing, they also celebrate a life that was filled with love, faith, humor, and genuine connection.

Though Sean's time on earth ended too soon, those who loved him find comfort in knowing that his spirit lives on in the stories he told, the laughter he inspired, and the love he shared. His memory will remain forever in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know him.

Sean will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished.
