CASERTA, Sharon A. (nee Gappen) - Of Tonawanda, entered into rest on December 10, 2023. Beloved wife of 57 years to Joseph D. Caserta; devoted mother of Josann Caserta and Joseph N. Caserta; cherished grandmother of Nicole, Megan, and Michael; loving daughter of the late Nicholas and Anne (nee Poliseno) Gappen; dear sister of Patricia and Lucille Gappen; also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday morning, December 22nd in St. John the Baptist Church, Kenmore, at 9:30 AM. Please assemble at church. Entombment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
