Sharon Paolini

January 14, 1972 — January 13, 2026

Sharon Paolini, born January 14, 1972 of Hamburg, NY, entered into rest on January 13, 2026. Sharon lived a life full of love, laughter, music, and dedication to the people around her. She was the kind of person who made others feel at home - warm, thoughtful, and always full of heart.

From a young age, Sharon had a bright spirit and a love for being part of something special. In high school, she was involved in Color Guard and Band. She enjoyed spending time with friends, and some of her favorite memories included night outs roller skating, a pastime she loved so much that she even won awards for.

It was in high school - during her junior year - that Sharon met the love of her life, Luke R. Paolini. Their bond began early and grew into a lifetime partnership filled with adventure, laughter, and love. Together they traveled, made memories, and truly enhanced life to the fullest. Sharon’s greatest pride was her family, including the day she became a mother on October 29, 1991, welcoming their daughter Christynne Shelby Paolini.

Sharon was incredibly proud of her education and her determination to succeed. She graduated college with honors and earned recognition as a Dean’s List student - an accomplishment that reflected her work ethic and drive.

Sharon also built a career she was proud of, spending more than 25 years with Hazmat Environmental Group, where she experienced growth, opportunity, and formed lasting relationships with the people she worked alongside. She served as a Transportation Compliance Specialist, and the team she worked with became a second family - Sharon deeply valued her extended family.

Sharon’s life was filled with the things she loved most: being the neighborhood mom, music, concerts with her friends and her daughter, and the simple joy of driving her car with the music turned up. She adored her dogs, and above all, Christmas - her favorite holiday. Sharon had a special way of bringing the magic of Christmas to life year after year, filling her home with warmth, tradition, and love.

Sharon was the beloved wife of Luke R. Paolini; devoted mother of Christynne Shelby Paolini (fiance, Jacob Bigelow); and cherished grandmother of Hudson and Melodi Bigelow, who brought her endless joy and pride. She was the loving daughter of Phyllis and the late Arthur Holmberg, and daughter-in-law of Arnold and Judith Paolini. Sharon was a dear sister of Arthur Holmberg, Thomas (Courtney) Holmberg, Jeffrey (Nicole) Holmberg, and Arnold J. (Kelley) Paolini; and dearest aunt of Harper Paolini, Josalyn Paolini, and Charlotte Holmberg. Sharon is also survived by many relatives and friends who were blessed to know and love her.

Sharon will be remembered for her love of family, her joyful spirit, and the way she made people around her feel cared for and understood. Though her passing leaves an immeasurable ache, her legacy will live on in every memory, every tradition, and in the love she gave so freely. She will be deeply missed, forever cherished, and always loved.

Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel) 3060 Abbott Rd., Orchard Park on Wednesday (1/21) 3:00 - 7:00 PM where the prayer service will immediately follow.
