Sheldon L. Bender

Of East Amherst, entered into rest July 25, 2015, beloved husband of Ruth E. (nee Stunkel) Bender; devoted father of Sally (Sam) Algera, Michelle (Jeff) Spencer and the late Toni VanArsdale; cherished grandfather of seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; loving son of the late Louis P. Sr. and Loretta Bender; dear brother of Donald (Judy) Bender, late Leroy (late Joan) Bender, late Lois Bender and the late Louis P. (Alyce) Bender III; also survived by relatives and friends. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Northtowns Chapel), 885 Niagara Falls Blvd. near Eggert/Sheridan Dr. on Tuesday (July 28th) from 9 AM-12 Noon. A funeral service will immediately follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice of Buffalo, 225 Como Park Blvd., Cheektowaga, NY 14227 in Sheldon's name would be greatly appreciated. Mr. Bender was a WWII Army veteran.
