(Kowalski) July 10, 2010; devoted mother of Marci (David) Wagner, Tina (Thomas) Doud and April Graser; loving Nana to Lily Wagner, Emma, Liam, Owen and Evan Doud and Harry and Jane Graser; daughter of the late Buffalo Artist Arthur Kowalski and Aida Guarnieri; sister of the late Celesta (Nicholas) Serio. Sonya endured a 25 year battle with Multiple Sclerosis. Sonya rarely complained and lived a life of quiet dignity despite the indignity of the disease. She was called "Sunny" by her friends, a fitting nickname for her disposition. No prior visitation.
