Susan E. Brehm

BREHM, Susan E. (nee Mazikowski) of Lackawanna, entered peacefully into rest on November 28, 2023 after battling pneumonia. Beloved wife of the late George Brehm; devoted mother of Paul (Wendy) Spahn, Greg Spahn, Joe (Angela) Spahn, Dina (late Bob) Rager, Tammy (Daniel) George, David (Ann) Brehm, Philip (Christine) Brehm, and the late Lawrence (Jackie) Brehm; cherished grandmother of Alexandria (Kyle) Bennett, Paul Spahn III (Emma Slade), Anna Rager (Michael Kerce), Drew Rager, Kyle Cahill (Emily Robinson), Kody (Morgan) Cahill, Kole Spahn, Kaleb Spahn, Rob Rager (Alli DeJoy), William (Samantha) Rager, Chelsea Rager (Mike Thurston), Matt (Alisha) Rager, Alyssa Rager (Arthur Matos), Jason (Ashley) George, Tiffany (Donald) McGarvey, Mathew Brehm, Toni Orcutt, Stephanie (Kyle) Debeau, Stacie (Steven) Spilotro, Ashley (Kyle) Parry, Tanya Brehm, Cody Brehm, Zack Brehm, Alexis Brehm, Aliza Brehm, Kristapher Brehm; and 23 great grandchildren; loving daughter of the late Eugene and Anna Mazikowski; dear sister of Martin (Pamela) Mazikowski, Author (Mary Ann) Gardner, Rosemary Caber and the late John A. (late Janice) Mazikowski, late Theresa (late Richard) Hutchinson, and late David (Geraldine) Mazkiowski. Although she held a few professions such as entrepreneur and accountant for an insurance agency, her greatest roles were Daughter, Sister, Wife, Mom, Busia (Grandmother), Great Grandmother, Aunt, and Friend to many. Everyone who knew her would describe her the same way loving. She cared for everyone as if they were family. In her free time, she volunteered as a Boosterette at the South Side Club and made ceramic figurines for family and friends. No prior visitation. A Celebration of Life will be held at Thomas E. Tehan American Legion Post 1449, 2075 - Electric Ave., Blasdell, on Friday, December 8, from 4-6 PM where a Funeral Service will immediately follow. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Lung Association in Susan's name. Arrangements by Lombardo Funeral Home (Southtowns Chapel).
