Susan A. "Sue" Lindner

LINDNER - Susan A. Sue (nee Soldwisch) August 18, 1942 - April 28, 2021. A wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother, great- great-grandmother, godmother and a friend to many. At the end of her life, she was being cared for by the many nurses and aides at Kenmore Mercy Hospital, where she passed peacefully into eternal life. Sue was born in Niagara Falls, NY and adopted by her parents, Carl and Ruth (nee Koeppen) Soldwisch at a very young age. Sue was raised in Tonawanda, NY, attending and graduating from Mt. St. Mary Academy (Class of 62) in Tonawanda. Susan had many hobbies that she enjoyed over the years, from bingo to camping to snowmobiling. She was preceded in passing by her parents, in- laws, a sister and her oldest son, Robert Jr. She is survived by her husband of 58 1/2 years, Robert, son Richard and daughter Cherie (Shawn Darco), four grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, six step- great-grandchildren, one step-great-great- grandchild and several nieces and nephews. Friends and family are invited to attend a Celebration of Susans Life, which will be held 5-7 PM, on Monday (May 3rd), at LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Northtowns Chapel), 885 Niagara Falls Blvd., near Eggert/Sheridan Dr., Amherst, NY 14226.
