Susan Mcgee

McGee, Susan "Sue" (LeRoy) Passed away on June 8th, 2023, at the age of 59. Sue was a beloved warrior, wife, mother, and Nana. She was the cherished wife of Michael McGee, devoted mother to Christy (Mike) Norman, and adored Nana to her three grandchildren, Elliana, Keira, and Parker. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Barbara LeRoy, and sister to Kathy (Chuck) Sicienski, David (Lori) LeRoy, and Nancy Kodish. Sue also held the special role of a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. Sue's life was defined by her unyielding determination to overcome challenges. She believed in showing others that anything is possible. Her love for her daughter, Christy, knew no bounds, and her heart had enough room to not only encompass her family but numerous beloved pets as well. As an Army veteran, Sue wore her badge with pride. She welcomed her daughter, Christy, during her service with Michael, and chose to leave the service to fully dedicate herself to motherhood. Sue served faithfully on the worship team at Resurrection Life for over 25 years, becoming a pillar of the ministry. Her unwavering faith and commitment served as an inspiration to all who knew her. Remembered as a warrior, mom, Nana, wife, sister, and friend, Sue's life story is a testament to the strength of the human spirit and its capacity to love. Her memory will continue to inspire all those whose lives she touched. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday morning, July 1st, at 10:00 o'clock at Resurrection Life, 2145 Old Union Road, Cheektowaga, NY. All friends and loved ones are warmly invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, the family gratefully requests donations to the Ten Lives Club to honor Sue's deep love for animals.
