STEPANKOWSKI - Tami L. (nee Bitskay) The world lost an amazing talent on September 20, 2023. Beloved wife of Dr. Victor Stepankowksi D.C.; loving daughter of Sandra M. (late Gerome) Gombault and the late Roger J. Bitskay; dear sister of Tracey J. (Joseph R.) LaJudice and Dr. Mark S. Bitskay D.C.; adored sister-in-law of Diane Stepankowksi; cherished aunt of Nicole E., Nathan W. and the late Shannon D. Bitskay; also survived by her beloved puppies, Dudley and Zoe. Tami has come to the Devine Awareness that there is no time -- only "Gods" time -- which is all time (Eternity Baby). She said that using the statement "Be One with God" has a deeper truth than she ever thought possible. She was beautiful, spiritual and also accomplished. Self-reliant and brilliant. Professionally, she owned and operated the Ocular Restoration Clinic and was a Board Certified Ocularist, a Board Approved Diplomat Ocularist, and a Licensed Ocularist and Nationally Certified at creating the worlds best custom-made prosthetic (artificial) eyes. A profoundly talented 45 year career, and a deep calling to help people feel better after the loss of an eye by restoring their appearance, as normal as possible with a custommade eye. She dedicated herself to replicate something that "God" created; as closely as humanly achievable. The eyes she created were all works-of-art, which is why people who knew of her reputation, came to her from all over the world. Her work was featured in the Buffalo Made Exhibit at the Buffalo Historic Museum. Tami as a person, was awsome in every way and will be immensly missed by everyone who knew her. In her spare time, she was a gourmet chef; insatiably loved new recipes and cook books; enjoyed home decorating, art, making jewelry as gifts for her family and friends and enjoying our 2 Pomeranian puppies. As for us, we were insepararable and loved each other for over 45 years. The profound feeling of loss is so immense that its easy to forget that her life, as well as all life goes on and on. For now, I have the fondest loving memories to keep me going, of a lifelong loving partner, that moved on beyond my senses, but still there for me, if I but only reach higher. Her grandfather was Dr. William A. Piller D.C., who taught her many of lifes truths and an inspiration to her for her whole life. May she be blessed always. In lieu of services, Tami instead recommended to: "Learn to love yourself, and to learn to love all people more and more each day."
