Theophine Lubala

Theophine Lubala died unexpectedly in the early morning of October 22nd, 2024, at the age of 18. Theophine is survived by his loving parents, mother, Ongwa Karumbwa, and father, Sisi (Marcel) Lubala Jr. He was adored by his brothers, Josue, Exos, Episcopere, and Michele; as well as, his baby sister, Micheline. Theo was a hard-working student at Cheektowaga Central Schools and enthusiastically participated at the Upward Bound summer & tutoring programs at Buffalo State University. He is also survived by his grandparents, Sisi Lubala Sr., Marceline Mwavita, and Lukwo Karumbwa, Mawazo Asenn; his great-uncle, Michele Lubala; his Aunts Bitu, Rikizi, and Tohsya Karumbwa, as well as Aunts Nabintu and Noela Lubala; and Uncles Emmanuel, Paco, Jile, and Deho Lubala; as well as Uncle Furahisha Karumbwa, also his beloved cousins Rosa, Bruno, and Ismael who we affectionately call Smiley. Theophine will always be remembered for his gentle kindness, compassion, humility, and generosity of spirit by all who knew and loved him including his neighbors Ms. Susie, Ms. Rene, and Ms. Danielle. They knew Theo as young man with a strong desire to learn skills, a hard-worker & a thoughtful young man who would never hesitate to help with snow removal, cleaning gutters, gardening, or any extra assistance they needed. God bless Theophine Lubala & his broken-hearted family who raised him to be a good person and a caring big brother and neighbor. A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 2nd, from 9:30-10:30 AM at Our Lady of Hope located at 18 Greenwood Pl., Buffalo, NY 14213. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 AM. Pia ameacha babu na babu, Sisi Lubala Sr., Marceline Mwavita, na Lukwo Karumbwa, Mawazo Asenn; mjomba wake mkubwa, Michele Lubala; shangazi zake Bitu, Rikizi, na Tohsya Karumbwa, pamoja na Shangazi zake Nabintu na Noela Lubala; na Wajomba Emmanuel, Paco, Jile, na Deho Lubala; pamoja na Mjomba Furahisha Karumbwa, pia binamu zake kipenzi Rosa, Bruno, na Ismael ambao kwa upendo tunawaita Smiley. Theophine atakumbukwa daima kwa wema wake mpole, huruma, unyenyekevu, na ukarimu wa roho na wote waliomjua na kumpenda kutia ndani majirani zake Bi. Susie, Bi. Rene, na Bi. Danielle. Walimjua Theo kama mvulana mwenye shauku kubwa ya kujifunza ujuzi, mfanyakazi mwenye bidii na kijana mwenye mawazo ambaye hangesita kamwe kusaidia kuondoa theluji, kusafisha mifereji ya maji, kutunza bustani, au usaidizi wowote wa ziada waliohitaji.
