Of West Seneca, entered into rest on June 30, 2023. Beloved husband of 67 years to Mary L. (nee Wolfe) Carr; devoted father of Thomas M. Carr (Colleen Corrigan), Donna M. (Gary Domzalski) Carr and Nancy K. Carr; cherished grandfather of Leanna M. (Rick) Pilarski, Kevin J. (Krista) Heffernan, Tyler C. (Erin) Carr and the late Ashley F. Carr; adored great grandfather of Caleb J. Pilarski and Hunter E. Pilarski; loving son of the late May and Luke Carr; dear brother of the late Delores Keyser, Jeanne McCabe and Judy Beecher. Also loved by nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends. Thomas was a US Army Veteran. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel) 3060 Abbott Rd. near Lake Ave. on Thursday from 4-7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John Vianney Church, 2950 Southwestern Blvd., Orchard Park on Friday morning at 9:30AM. Please assemble at Church. Thomas was a former West Seneca Democratic Committeeman, a member of American Legion, a Eucharistic Minister serving Queen of Heaven and St. John Vianney parishioners, as well as Mercy Hospital patients. He also volunteered as a Religious Education Instructor at Queen of Heaven School. He was also an avid sports fan, who skated and played ice hockey well into his 50s, as well as a basketball and football referee.
